The Good Neighbours garden project, Jan to Sep 2012

This video summarises the progress to date of the aim to transform the overgrown piece of land at the back of the Church into a garden an allotment. We now have the raised beds in place and thanks to Bramall Construction (www.bramallnw.com), we also have a patio area, which they constructed for free. We aim to get a greenhouse and shed so that we can really start planting for the coming years

Denise's Leaving Party in 1988

Clips from a video made by Ian Hobbs in 1988 of Denise Jones's Leaving Party. Denise was leaving Chorlton Good Neighbours to go and live in South Wales. Included in these clips are Helen, Enid and Arthur who are all still active in Chorlton Good Neighbours but unsurprisingly look a little bit younger in this video!

Good Neighbours stall at 'Faith on the Green'

On a lovely sunny, Saturday autumn day (22-09-12) chorlton good neighbours had a stall at the Faith on the Green event on Chorlton Green. It was held to mark the 500th anniversary of St Clement's Church. Thanks to Carolyn, Jane & Janice who came on the stall. Our Good Neighbour's balloons were popular with children, though it takes practice to assemble them properly!
